I was ondering if this is possible? I downloaded a few songs the had stage = *** (or something like this anyway) in the song.ini file. I have a special stage id like to only work with my acdc songs as its a acdc themed stage. Its an animated stage also by the way.
I tried searching around but wasnt really finding any info. I may have not been searching using the right words I guess maybe.
Does anyone know if and how you do this?

If I understand correctly, you can put a stage.png in the song folder and it will show that when you play a song, but there is no support for animated stages that are song specific.
I'm not sure what the stage=*** setting would do...

So I should be able t just put a pic called stage.png in the songs folder and thats it?
No animated stages tho, hmmmm maybe this should go in the "thoughts?" section. lol

To have song specific stages (Single Picture), you'd just have to put a PNG file named "background.png" in the songs folder, as for song specific animated stages i have no idea.

I just tried that with a single png frame and it didnt work. Then I searched around some more and found some song.ini values and found one called force_background = true. And thats suppose to make a "background.png" file in the song folder run as the background. But that didnt work.
I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so that in the stages folder you can have subfolders with different animated stages. And in the song.ini file you could put something like stages = (then the name of that subfolder that contains the background you want for this song) I wonder if it can be coded to work like that? I know it cant right now, but can it be made to do that.
If a moderator sees this maybe you can move this to the thoughts section. I think this may be a good addition to the game.
