Re: serious lag is back
Be a bit more descriptive please.
What is your hardware configuration?
You say its 'come back' so i assume it was working correctly before?
What changes have you made to fofix/your system recently?

It was okay before but before it was okay it also had the same problem. The version of FOFix i am using is 3.120 beta 2. Before it was ok, i was using 3.100 then i changed to 3.120 beta 2 and its still the same until i restarted my com and it worked for about 3 days and now its lagging again and i am not sure what i did because i have only been using my computer for surfing the net.
I put everything to the lowest already.
Windows Vista Ultimate
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60ghz
3Gb Ram
32 bit OS
Nvdia 9600GT
I see no reason why there is so much lag in it with this spec
Re: serious lag is back
I am still using FoFiX v3.100 because the newer versions display system seems yo be slower than this old stable version. The notes display seems to be "flicky" so the display is not as good as before...
I saw a task in your development pool to "simplify display system" for the next version after 3.100. Could this "upgrade" has brought some bad effects ? ;-)
Computer Configuration
Pentium D 3.2ghz
4go RAM
ATI Radeon X1600
Windows Vista 32bits

Do you have the Python 2.4 or the Python 2.6 version? Try the other.

Re: serious lag is back
Enable your "Advanced Settings," and then turn off "Psycho," which can be found under the Advanced Settings tab. For most people, this will kill the lag completely (your results may vary).

Re: serious lag is back
HY, You could try with olders/ beta drivers i had a similar problem 6 month ago (slowdowns even in the menus) but since then it's working without slowdowns (and with HD videos in the background with VLC) .
Fofix 3.120b1 + Python 3.01 + 190.38beta Nvidia Drivers (8800GT) + VLC 1.0 /Win XP SP3 (Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 @ 3.00GHZ)

We have never supported Python 3, and we have no plans to do so. Also, what does VLC have to do with anything?
