Geetar Hero is a gh3 theme for country music fans and people who just want something fun and different

constructive comments and suggestions are welcome and appriciated

Theme Download: Link rev14 (mirror)

Easy updates with the .SVN

download and install this small program link
then open your fofix\data\theme folder

I hadn't seen those new fret buttons until now. They're pretty cool.
As is this whole theme. Needs some better sounds though.

i put the frets on to bake for about 20 then fliped them over, :)

As is this whole theme. Needs some better sounds though.

yes, the theme needs a couple of things and i was hoping for some help from my peers, so any suggestions are welcome. i can't make any custom sounds without a mic, i have cakewalk but it's like looking at photoshop for the first time :P

it would be nice to have custom menu sounds (in,out, select), but it's not a game breaker imo

edit: here's a shot of the notes wip, can anyone guess what the frets are made from ;)

Only because I knew you, I knew what to search for
It's a push button plughole for a modern sink. And turning them into awesome fretbuttons... That was really brilliant.
Also, I bet this is the exact picture you used:

This theme looks really sweet! =o
I'm not into country, but wth, who cares about musical taste when it comes to themes. :p
The main thing I noticed (I haven't downloaded but just looking at the screenshots shows a lot) is that the pause menu seems a bit out of place. Maybe you could display the pause menu on a close-up on a guitar body instead?

hey, thanks

the screenshots are very small and don't really do justice, it looks much better in game

the pause menu is like it is because of the submenu. there is currently no way to choose font or possitioning

a perfect example is wr's gh3 theme, the pause menu looks great until you select "options"

the back of a guitar is an excellent idea that i'll use if the submenus get fixed

:scared: I can't believe I forgot to add this to the FoFiX theme list! I needed a reminder and everything!
My mistake has been amended.

I love this very much.. gj, but there's a typo in the controller select. There reads "Controler Select" ; there should read Controller Select ( with 2 L )

Anyway, this is one of the best themes I've ever seen or used :2thumbsup: :2thumbsup:

nice catch, i can't belive i didn't notice that, fixed the .svn and am uploading a new link and screenshots now

here is a link for people who have allready downloaded and don't want to use .svn

this needs to be saved in the theme\lobby folder as "controlbg.png"

you'll want to wait for the full image to download so you can get the full size image

edit: new link in the first post (thanks for pointing that out)
