Im doing Beatles: RB mod, but, im having some problems.
How did can i make an custom star, that works with "Partial continuous fillup"? I already changed all "stars" graphics, but, it keep showing the RB2 star and the yellow fill up, were i can find these files to change?
I've tried to change the score font, that is an TrueType for an OpenType, that looks like Nobel font (the original on Beatles: RB). When i did it, the game wont start. I've changed to Avant Garde again (TrueType) and game works again. Anyway to suport OpenType fonts too?
Anyway to make the "overdrive flash" apper in "overlay" mode too? I dont know exactly how the "overlay" works on frets, but, i think that will make the flash looks better and more like on Beatles RB.
Another thing, i want to make tails works like on GHWT mod, but, i need that tails keep they colors on Overdrive, and dont change to blue.
Thanks.

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
The partial continuous fillup mode ignores the partial star images and instead uses code in the theme.ini. There should be a parameter in there for a star fill color. You can check the theme file settings wiki page for more information.
For the font, it sounds like FoFiX only supports TrueType and on OpenType, but that can't be right, can it? I thought I'd used one or two before... This should be looked into further. (Hard to do from work, sorry)
I thought the overdrive flash did work in overlay mode... I normally only use overlay. You mean the string flash when you collect some overdrive, right? I haven't looked for a while, but it might be possible that you just can't see the flash because it's very faint (this is a bug that seems to have cropped up recently, involving the stings as well).
Good luck Ds~. You do amazing graphics, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the theme turns out.

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Hmm, ok death_au. The stars problem is just with the "yellow ring" that fills the RB2, now, its something that need texture. In the game, i see the blue star, and arround it, the yellow circle. How did can i change the yellow circle for this?
Here, its this blue star:
And under the star, this circle:
If this can't be made, i will use the older "fill up", with frames.
About the overdrive flash, i dont know, but, in the older versions isn't an "fade effect" when it flash?
I dont know if the overlay works like the photoshop overlay mode, but, if this does, i think that flash could looks like on original game.
Thanks, and sorry for english :P

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Oh, "Overlay mode" simply meant that the graphics for the overdrive, solo and bass groove necks are drawn on top of the existing neck, as opposed to replacing the neck. I'm not sure that the overdrive flash is really influenced by that at all.
The "flash" should just fade in and out (quickly of course). Are you saying it's not fading anymore?
Also, what you want to do with the partial stars isn't possible... yet.

Hmm, i dont know, if this is fading i can't see, because its soo fast. Is there anyway to make this be longer, with an faster fade in, and an longer fade out?
And about the partial stars, i will use the "framed" stars, but, i hope that u guys could make it possible in an next fofix version ^^
Thanks o/

3 and 4 player modes were added quite recently and will be available in the next version. Though it doesn't work quite as smooth as single player.

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
It looks like the "GuitarSceneClient has no attribute xxx" occurs when the extra GSC instance thing occurs.
I have been playing around with code to try to fix it, but so far I have only been able to make things worse. Go figure.

Well, whatever it was...I restarted the game and it didn't have that error. But the song and voice was way out of sync with the notes. So I restarted my computer and all is well again.
On another note...the "Static Strings = Yes" now shows the strings again!

Huh?
Anyway, r1622 fixes FoFiX issue 805, and requires a rebuild of your song cache, so... sorry about that.
