Re: Rock Band 2 : Continues..[1.6.5] Revision 76..by [K.i.D]™
Hi guys, I've made these new textures for 3D notes, now that with recent fixes are IMHO better than old 2D ones. Here it's a screenshot to compare old and new ones. Do you like them?
http://www.mediafire.com/?twym0uznjgw
Also add these lines to your theme.ini
#3D Notes
twoDnote = False
noterot1 = 2
noterot2 = 1
noterot3 = 0
noterot4 = -1
noterot5 = -2
threeDspin = False
In addiction I think that with this value into theme.ini POV is more similar to real RB2:
neck_length = 6.5

This is good, I just need some help installing.
When I add it to my themes, and turn it on. Instead of getting the mod, I have the normal crappy FoFiX menu, with the text smushed together.
Any help?

Are you adding it to you themes folder or your mods folder?

Could somebody pls send me a pic of the Advanced Video, In-Game Display(and there, the Theme Display) and Fretboard settings menu, when you're using the RB2 theme pls?
Somebody who has the game look like here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZvGYTmz ... annel_page
Because I can't set these. When I set the Shaders on, that colorful flashes at the bottom when you hit a note are much more intensive and I hate it cause I cant see anything.
And when I set effects display mode on, when I whammy a long note, it is shiny. And when I set the Shaders on, it's like thunderbolts, but not the ones that you use at this video.
And thats also a problem that the fretboard is very transparent and sometimes I can barely see the notes. How could I set it to a non-transparent neck?
thx very much!
Anyway, this is the very best theme I've ever seen.

Hi! I know about all your effort on this excellent RB2 theme and this post (all your job and contributions)! By the way, only I wish to ask the next question: When do we will have a new (complete and definitive) RB2 theme version available to download (because the very last version is the Rev 55, not the Rev 76)? I still waiting for! Thanks, and good work!
Re: Rock Band 2 : Continues..[1.6.5] Revision 76..by [K.i.D]™
yeah, I know the answer now!
The problem was that I had beta 1, where you cant set the tails, and the flashing effects are much more annoying.
Anyway, yesterday, the Final 3.120 came out and I now have it. It's much better than ever! Finally I have the perfect FoF :D

Simograndi, are you sure you made those? As far as I'm concerned, its fatdog who did all that. Or if you are only talking about the TEXTURES, then, never mind me.
