There are updated screens and a new full download in the first post for fofix 3.1.xx (i know it's still a beta but there have been tons of great improvements!)

here is a final hotfix for the 3.0xx version BioShock rev.3 update
this includes everything to bring the old version to date :)

Thanks again for all the great feedback, please enjoy!

still looking at ideas for new frets should have something for the first hotfix.

edit: could someone make a vid for me? i'll add you too the credits ;)

Hello everybody.
I got a little problem with the setlist.
When i set it to be like in RB2 everything is fine but in the lower-right corner where Band,Guitar,Bass,Drums stands there is a problem.

Next to the Band,Guitar,Bass,Drums just stands N/A.
How do i fix this.

I have FoFiX 3.100(first and second BETA).

EDIT: Here is screenshot.-- Image

i have made some new frets but as worldrave has been saying for quite a while the frets get streched and don't look as clear as they should.

Link (open your BioShock theme folder and rename your current "fretbuttons.png" to "fretbuttons 5.png" then add the included file)

if people like these i'll add them to the first hotfix (feedback please)

It does not look really good, i like the older ones better.
Maybe if you sharpen it a bit and add color to the Frets,it might look better.

I think they have some good potential. But i would take out the bar that goes across and have the first row of frets just be those circles with the design on top, the second row would make the design slightly colored, and the hitrow to just have those circles pushed up (kinda like now).

I played around and removed the unnecessary space in the image, and that helped with the distortion, but the fret buttons are just too tall to look that great.
If you want to see what I did, I uploaded them here: http://www.mediafire.com/?3jyezwjdrgm

thanks for the replies :)

a swing and a miss, lol

i'll try to make these shorter and see if that helps

the way the image gets distorted limits what we can do, it may have to be something more simple

Yeah you're right, they are way too tall. Use existing (working) fretbutton as a template, and try to line keep the buttons in the same proportions. Judging by my eye, correct me if i'm wrong, but the FoFix mod is programed to only work with images that are alligned in a certain way. If the images are out of proportion to how they should be, the images are stretched or distorted to fit. Which seems to be what's happening. Meh, my 2 cents

I agree, these are looking much better. Possibly still a little too tall due to the distortion FoFiX puts on them, but that's only a minor complaint (as opposed to the previous frebuttons).
I'll definitely keep using these ones
