Re: 8 Bit NES Theme [For FoFiX 3.0+]
I haven't tried the theme, but i see a lot of comments about the stage.
Just so everyone is clear, "I'M" the one that made the stage, for Guitar Zero. It ended up being broken apart and used as a default animated stage for GZ.
Just thought i'd let everyone know <.<

Thank you. I'll credit you. EDIT: Wait, I already did :P
I found the bits somewhere and put it together as an animated background for FoFiX myself.

I'll help you with this. I don't have anything myself made now, but give me a list and starting June 19th when I get out of school, I'll open up Paint.net and Photoshop and get working. Any ideas that you want done. Also, searching the internet for 8-bit sounds shouldn't be to hard. Also check out the freeware Audacity for sound mixing. Since October I've been slowly learning guitar and while I'm not yet confident in my skill enough to do anything much, I will be glad to soon record and mix sounds for the game and any themes. Mess up sounds are easy(just a bad palm mute), and maybe select sounds, menu songs, and even playable songs sound fun.

I'm sorry, but this is too epic. I'm sorry to say that I will be downloading this.
---- EDIT ----
I'd reccomend adding a orange button as an option. To give some people the comfort that brings.

I haven't touched a GH related game for 6 months. Woo. My (dead) song thread: Contains horrible things.

This theme is in dire need of an update. (as are all my themes, really)
Now if I could just find the time / motivation...
EDIT:
Optional orange fret is certainly an idea.
I'd also like ideas for more backgrounds, and 8-bit noises for screwup and drums (and a new startup sound. The Pac-man noise gets annoying after a while)

I would absolutely LOVE to see an update for this theme!
It's probably one of my favorite themes, if that gives you any motivation to work on it.

Re: 8 Bit NES Theme [For FoFiX 3.0+]
Thanks, that gives me a head start on that.
I'll include an RB2 setlist graphic, but I won't make it the default setlist (as having album covers kinda ruins the 8-bit feel IMO). All you'll have to do is change one number in the theme.ini though, so it's no big deal.
And yes I am (slowly) doing some work on this.

Re: 8 Bit NES Theme [For FoFiX 3.0+]
Still working on it. I'd say I'm mostly done, but I still have to do the lobby, character screens and so forth. Haven't finalised the RB2 setlist, either.
I'm also "re-branding" the theme with the FoFiX logo:
Also, I've come down with the flu or something, and apart from feeling like crap, I've taken the day off work and spent all morning fiddling with the results screen in the theme.ini
I think I'm happy with the layout of it now, but it needs something and I'm not sure what. So, any suggestions?
