Guitar Hero 5 Ho/PO System?
Does anyone think that FoFix 4.00 should include the hammer-on system from GH5 (Chord srtums, chord hammer-ons)

This, I belive may have been suggested. Don't cite me on this one.
But yeah, I think GH5 HO/PO system should be included in FoFiX v. 4.0.

wasnt fofix's teams target was to get clone of rock band? not a guitar hero?
Re: Guitar Hero 5 Ho/PO System?
It was never intended to be a specific clone of anything.
Most people overlook the fact that FoFiX is simply an attempt at improving upon prior code, in usability, speed, and customization.
That said, find documentation for said system and make an issue about it. You never know.

It was supposed to be both. You can see that they included the GH2 HO/PO system in FoFix, right? It would be nice to add the GH5 HO/PO system. If you don't like it, then just change the Ho/Po settings. That simple. In my retrospect, the GH5 Ho/Po system is very fun.

Actually, I'm pretty sure 4.0 has RB2 HO/PO, which also includes Chord HO/PO.

Hate to have a GH5 HOPO system. The charts will just be **** up.

Yeah, like I said, just change it if you don't like it. Simple. Some people like it, some don't.

Exactly.
Read my sig. There is a part that explains what I would normally post here.

Re: Guitar Hero 5 Ho/PO System?
the gh5 hopo system is pretty much just plagiarizing the rb2 hopo system. except for the slider notes. so if we implement anything, we are going to put in the rb2 hopos.
and yes slashfan, it probably WOULD screw up some old charts, as they weren't designed to have things like hopo chords.

That's why we also need "forced"(chartable) HO/POs instead of just automatic HO/POs. With that there would also need to be a way to let old charts still use automatic HO/POs, like if "forced" HO/POs aren't found in the *.mid . I'm pretty sure there is an issue that already talks about this.
.:Edit:.
I found the issue that talks about everything we just said: Issue 280

Also, I think FoFix should be capable of tapping a sting of notes.
For example:

Watch 0:16-0:24
