same problem here, I have the last Fofix SVN (python 2.4) and the las RB2 theme SVN too, the cache metadata not work
This is not this theme bug, it's something else because it happens on other themes as well. And I think that, also, it's not related to the latest FoFiX SVN release.
You see, I've experienced this bug when I copied all my files to an external drive. I'll explain better, I have FoFiX running on 3 different PC's and everything is being updated via SVN (by "everything" I mean all stuff that are available to update via SVN). And the other day I've shown this game to a cousin of mine. He liked it a lot, and so, instead of create the folders on his PC and update everything via SVN, I simply copied/pasted all my folders to an external disk and installed all the modules as well as TortoiseSVN so that, he would be able to update his stuff later via SVN. Having done this I've decided to run FoFiX directly from the external disk, having the disk connected to my PC (where FoFiX doesn't have this "label bug") and what I saw was that running the game (that was an exact copy of my FoF folder) through the external disk, that bug appeared.
Weird stuff...
Well, at first I though that it could be an external disk problem, but it's not. After I copied all folders to my hard-drive again, the same thing happened. Now I have two exact copies of FoFiX on my PC. One "sees" the labels of the songs, the other one don't. The strange is that the one that doesn't, at least, is able to show the labels of my folders (like GH1 folder and etc...).
I think that maybe the problem has something to do with the fact that I've copy/paste the folders instead of creating them and updated them form scratch on my cousin's external disk. Since I din't had the opportunity to log on the internet that day, I wasn't able to test this.
Having this said, I strongly recommend everybody who's having this bug to delete all folders (except the Songs folder), reboot your PC, and create all folders again to update them, from scratch, via SVN.
Hope this helps.
Hasta!
