Hey guys. I downloaded the last version of FoFix and would be great if I could download the last version of RB2 theme as well. In the first page I can just download rev55, but the title says rev76. Also, near the 100th post, I found rev80 on rapidshare. Looks like the latest rev is rev84. Why not keep all revs in the first topic and put them in there when they are released? It could make thinks so much easier...

And yes, I know that there are SVN, but I don't have internet in my house yet, so, I download it on the job XD and bring to my home to install it. There may be other people around who do the same (except that job part).

---- EDIT ----

Install FoFix first, them put the RB2 theme in the folders theme. You will need songs to play. There's a topic full of it (see below). In options, choose the RB2 theme and configure your settings. The songs must be in the data\songs folder to work.

Here you will found songs: viewforum.php?f=5

I think you should also put a short FAQ into the first posting.
I couldn't find any installation instructions in your zip-files. So I didn't knew, that I'd need FoFix and where I'll get this.
Didn't knew how to change the theme ...

But now it's working fine and you are doing a really great job! Thanks a lot for that.

A stupid question from me: Can you change the songlist to display not only the title of the song but also the artist?
I know RB2 doesn't do this but it would help to find songs faster.
Shashashake it!

RB2 setlist DOES display the Artist. It's on the left side over the difficulty rating in a red box.

Yes but you have to select the song to see the artist. So you go to the song, look who's the artist, go to another song and so on.
If you would see the artist before or after the song in the overview you would find the song you search for much faster.

Well, you could download the latest svn repository at your work, rar/zip the folder (or not) and copy that to your home (with a USB-pen or the like). It's basically the same as you're doing now only you get it from the svn and not rapidshare

You can open the theme.ini, find the line that says "song_list_display = 3" and change the number to 1 (or 0, or 2). The setlist will be arranged differently, and you might lose things like the album covers and so forth. It's up to personal preference which list mode is best.

I tried them in FoFIX for a couple days, but it doesn't like playing the sound right away. I have to wait a second between each hit in order for the sound to be produced. With the original theme sounds, they seemed to react faster. Is it just my computer that's making it do this?

-Edit-
Also, I noticed that when you miss notes in FoFIX, the multiplier and the notes don't turn red. Instead, it just resets and the notes go by with their regular colors. I think adding that feature would be nice to see clearer what notes you miss as well as to create a closer resemblance to Rock Band.

I finally got SVN to somewhat work. ie I need to get every image off by itself. Will upload newest revision soon.

EDIT

Anyone mind telling me where the folders; "vocals" "avatars" and "lobby" would go? I didn't have those before. Would they just go in themes\Rock Band 2 Theme?
Or would some go in like the menu folder or something? Thanks.

Could somebody very briefly explain to me what SVN is and why I should use it? I have installed FoFix and rev 80 of this theme, but have noticed a few things out of line such as the number of points which is higher than it should be.

Anyways, I just want to get the best out of everything :)

Thanks
