Vocals Question... I Know
well I know everyone has been asking questions and i still can't get mine answered... anywhere. I have the RB1 mic and i update the fofix svn everyday at noon so I'm up to date most of the time. I've read in places that you need the pyvocal or something to make it work and I can't find it anywhere. I also read that if you have a mic the records with windows it will work but I went to controller and there's no option to set up a mic(Also read that somewhere). Plz find it in the kindness of your heart to not to yell at me and help cause I can't the answer to these questions on the forum... I looked, trust me.

Answer: **** READ BEFORE POSTING MICROPHONE QUESTIONS!! ***
Assuming you followed those directions and saw the notice about PyAudio (which I don't believe you did because you didn't have the correct name, and a simple search for PyAudio would have helped you):
If you can't find a module, did you by chance look at the Google Code site where it lists required modules (with links!!) that is linked all over this forum - Including in the main forum rules?
We do try to be polite and helpful, but the same question a hundred times when the information is not at all hidden is just a bit frustrating.

Are you using a theme that supports vocals?
Make sure that a /vocals folder exists under the theme folder, and that the vocal graphics are contained in it. Also, it will only work in single player or RB Co-Op.
I've asked jstump91 to add this info to the sticky.

I didn't see this asked yet but. Did you remember to go into controllers and make one of the 4 controller's a Microphone? I think you can pick the Mic source in there. I'd have to double check though. Also if you're on Vista, another thing I had to do was find the audio controls (On mine it's Realtek HD Audio Manager) go into advanced device settings and have it set to "Separate all input devices." Then it should show up in the controller menu.

Re: Vocals Question... I Know
In the controllers menu you need to make a new controller, and change the type at the top from Guitar to Microphone

Re: Vocals Question... I Know
...You don't have the alpha version. You might think you do, but you don't. The alpha has completely restructured controls. Make sure your SVN is updated to the latest revision (1723 at the time of this writing) and that you are running from source (preferred) or a rebuilt exe.
