You are right, but I posted instructions somewhere in that huge Alarian thread on how to get the hotfixes to work on Macs. I'll see if I can find it. I also started posting hotfixes that I get a chance to compile here: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharek....16e8708

Search for Gamepad Companion for Mac. I think that will help you out. If you've read other things about Joy2Key for Windows, it is basically the same thing. Just map the up strum to one key on the keyboard and the down strum to another, and it will work perfectly.

Thanks for the tip! I've installed it and set it up through that program, but I'm still registering the same problem. Something about alternate strumming still doesnt work right. I've I only up or only down strum it works perfectly, but the second I try to alternate up and down it stops working.

Has anybody else had this issue at all?

Before I used wiitar, I used osculator. That seemed to work pretty well, except for the annoying shareware countdown.

hey, im having trouble adding custom songs, i added one, cuz it was in a folder but all the other ones that are .rar i add them to the song folder but it doesnt recognize in fof. any help would be great.

Q: How do I add songs into FoF?

A: Download a track, this will usually be in *.rar format
Extract the *.rar file, and almost always, the files song.ogg, guitar.ogg, song.ini and notes.mid will be in a folder. If this is not the case then put them in a folder.
Place this folder inside the FretsOnFire/data/songs/ folder and your song will now appear in your song list.

Winrar osx is a command line utility. Get something else like Stuffit Expander or UnRarX. There are others, but I can't think of them.
