Adding Custom Songs to FOF

1. unzip song file Edit (BlackFate): WHICH WILL BE A .RAR FILE, THEREFORE YOU WILL NEED WINRAR.

2. put the folder containing the guitar.ogg / song.ogg/notes.mid and song.ini into
FretsOnFire/data/songs

Edit (BlackFate): DO NOT GO TO IMPORT IN FRETS ON FIRE, THAT IS FOR MAKING YOUR OWN SONGS.

that should do it!

Edit(BlackFate):

1. Download the file to somewhere easy to find such as your desktop.
2. If you have WinRAR good, if not then you can get it here.
3. Extract the file straight into your fretsonfire/data/songs folder or right click it and choose extract here, and then open up your fretsonfire/data/songs folder, and drag the extracted folder into your songs folder.
4. If the extracted contents are loose (not in a folder) then you will need to put them in a folder.
5. Open up fretsonfire and go to play game, if done correctly, then the songs will appear in the list.

ok i new that but how do you make new ones w/ out overwriting another one?

how do i put the songs into the song file if I have a lot of songs in one file

the songs dont have any difficulty settings so it gets stuck right there

ive put .rar files and .zip folders all into the data/songs and they dont appear in the game....

It's said right here: UNZIP song file, put the FOLDER into FretsOnFire/data/songs...

anyway, download the torrent and open it whit e-mule, shareaza or other P2P program...it's going to download The Pack ...then just throw the songs in FretsonFire>>data>>Songs
