Just a side note if your thinking of using FOF to IMPORT the gh3 songs, dont expect it to work....
FOF 1.2.451 (the known working stable version ) Can only import GH1 & 2. V1.2.512 ( the known crap and full of bugs version) Can Also import GH80's ( kind of ) but the import of GH3 has not yet been programmed into FOF's import system.
So your only alternative is to find " some other method " to extract the songs from the dvd..
And as Antonio said, no you wont hurt the dvd when/if you extract the songs. your just copying the information, your not actually taking it off ( removing ) from the dvd. The general rule is you cant delete/remove things from cd's or dvd's. There are exceptions such as Rewritable discs. But games/music/movies are not ever put on these.
The only real way you will hurt the game disc is if you was to scratch / damage the actual surface of the disc..
