Alright everyone I have found a fix to the double strumming problem a lot of people seem to have, OR mostly everyone haha but if you have vista you have to keep messing with XBCD before it works ANYWAY i will provide a link with all the instructions and will keep checking back to make sure all questions are answered!!!!!

Tried it, can't get past:

"8.Go to update driver
9.Browse for your driver wherever you saved your XBCD_360Guitar.ini file to most likely your desltop"

seeing as when i browse it I don't even have the XBCD_360Guitar.ini file

lol dude wherever you extracted the zip file to you should see the ini file just browse the directory where you saved the files

i think the promblem is beacus the ini file is named a inf file but if you name it a ini file it dose not work as driver info

This has been went over many times, map out your controller buttons to a keyboard button using XPadder or Joy2key.

It's the easiest solution.

haha that it maybe so but this method is much better then any of the other ones i highly recommend it and yeh sorry that was my bad it is inf:P not ini haha but hey i was up until like 7 or so so ya

If this is a one-time fix, then I figure that would make it easier than running 3rd party programs.

revan666, why not fix the typos and re-up this?

well because there was only two typos and i was tired at the time and didnt get sleep so someone else can fix it and reup it if they like :p cuz i am to busy and yes it is better then using those other 3rd party apps this is a third party app but it is better i gurantee you will be satisfied!

yes, but some of us can't run either.
FRETS ON FIRE SHOULD BE 4 PLAYER OR MORE WITH ONLINE PLAY!
