Moving songs from FoF to PS "broke" some of them

Postby ThomH » Fri Jan 15, 2016 4:31 pm

Hello guys!
So i transferred all my songs folder to the phase shift folder simply copy pasting, but then i had a problem. Most of the songs have now extended the simple notes. (I noticed more of this on Puppetz songs by the way.)

This is a print screen from Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis, by Trivium, which is on Puppetz Hero: Trivium (Warning: Big image)

Spoiler:Image

You can see the same tab here: https://youtu.be/9dqPj3Ctvkg?t=48s

Do anyone know any solution for this? They really work fine on FoF but not on Phase Shift.
Thanks in advance :D

You'll probably have to edit the midi, unfortunately. It's done by (for example) using eof* to open them. Then click on the notes you want to edit the length of, and then scroll down. (If you need to select all notes, just click the first note, skip all the way to the end using the player buttons in the top right, and press shift and then click the very last note. Then just scroll down, and you'll have reduced the length of all notes)

*You can get eof from the DWSK site. Click on 'Download' and scroll down. You'll find EOF there.

As Maupy said, use EOF.

Here's the link.

There's a faster way to select all notes. Just press "Ctrl+A". :p

While this will shorten the notes, it will also break online play, because your midi files will be different than everyone elses. This obviously isn't a problem if you don't play online, but still. Just thought I'd speak up.
