Did you install 1.2.512 as your first version? If so, when trying other versions did you delete your fretsonfire.ini from %appdata%\fretsonfire\ (In vista %appdata%\roaming\fretsonfire\)?
And explain more than just "They don't work" give us details. The game simply wont open, I get an error message, ect.
