Hey all,

I am having a performance issue which I need help on. When playing a song *using the latest Alarian Mod*, I experience an odd performance "hitch" every 15 seconds, where the notes will start lagging for a second. When setting my priority to Above Normal or High, the severity of the hitch is lessened a bit, but the problem is, when I do this, JoyToKey *which I run in the background* will stop working from time to time, which really makes the game unplayable (I use JoyToKey for strumming reasons). This "hitching" occurs on various mods of FoF, not just Alarians. I have tested it on DS~'s and normal UC mod and I still experience the issue. So, if anyone can suggest anything or help me in any way, I would greatly appreciate it

Before you see my specs, mind you that FoF runs with an average of 35-40 FPS when playing a song, thereby running pretty smoothly, with the exception of the "hitching"

1) 1.6 ghz Pentium IV
1 GB RAM
64 MB Geforce 2 MX

Yes....it's ancient, but like I stated, it runs FoF quite smoothly, with the exception of the odd "error" that I am having
2 + 3) Running Alarian Mod v 1.9
4) Drivers are updated
5) Color quality is 32 bit
6) No log
7) Running ZoneAlarm in the background which takes very little resource wise
8) Messing around with priority, changing various settings, etc..
