Having problems starting the game

Postby aljowen » Wed Jun 29, 2011 4:34 pm

Hi im quite new to the forums (2 mins old) so if i do something wrong please tell me!

I have just got my new PC and when i start up frets on fire the game works for about one second, plays the menu music and then freezes up and stops and then windows 7 sais this program has stopped working. I had frets on fire on my 9 old PC and it worked fine please help.

EDIT: It works in compatibility for xp service pack 3 in 256 colors at 640x480 screen res (and it doesn't look good!)

My PC specs (please ask if you need more of them):

Intel I5 2500K (cpu)
Asus P8P67 (motherboard)
corsair 8GB ram (cant quite remember the model)
Hitachi 1tb 7k200 (hard drive)
gigabyte gtx 560ti super overclock (gpu) (driver : 3.7.730.01 )

Thanks for any help.
