Comps specs?
Fof version?
Any mods?
Graphics drivers up to date?
Desktop color quality set to 32bit?
Any firewall, anti virus software?
Any error messages coming up?
Anything in your log file?

Mike.

It's only a virtue if you're not a screwup.

Why do you bother posting if youre not going to help?

DragonForce, dont mind him. Just answer the questions BlackFate asked... that should help in fixing your problem.

What's wrong with Vista? I mean I like XP better but Vista works great with FoF.

I'll delete it, redownload it make sure I'm on 32 bit then check it.
Also, do I need to change the compatibility?

If you're using a dual-core processor, MAKE CERTAIN TO SET PROCESSOR AFFINITY TO SINGLE!

To change the affinity do this:
Run FoF
Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del.
Click on the processes tab.
Right click FoF.exe
Choose Set Affinity.
Uncheck one of the cores.

Edit: The 360 Guitar is plug and play. Your computer should automatically recognize it as a joystick and download the needed drivers. Then you can run FoF and assign the keys in Options>Key settings.

It's a known problem with the 360 Xplorer (assuming that's your controller) that strumming causes the guitar to 'wobble', which, combined with the analogue star power sensor, causes disrupted registration of button presses.
