I use an X360 Xplorer to play Frets on Fire, and in the settings I assigned up strum to one pick, and down strum to the other. But then when I get to a song where I have to double strum really fast, it doesn't do it and I miss most of those notes. This is a really annoying problem since I only play Expert (except for REALLY hard songs)... lol
HALP!?

I used to have this problem too. Use Joy2Key or some other similar software. Joy2Key is a bit difficult to figure out... I use another program, though I forget what it's called (Don't have access to my computer at the moment). This doesn't completely fix the problem, but it rarely skips.

I'm no longer around, sorry.
