Short version. No.

Long Version, Maybe. It depends if you already own the audio in question. The notecharts are completely legal but the music still has copyrights attached. You are legally entitled to use the note charts with your own legal version of the song. This may require some attention on your part to sync because not all song versions are the same.

If there is any GH/RB stuff on the site (i didnt see it) then you dont legally have rights to the note charts or the audio.

It's amazing how often legal questions get asked without mention of what jurisdiction applies.

In the right combination of conceivable circumstances almost everything is both legal and illegal. If you're in doubt you should err on the side of caution, cross your fingers, or ask an attorney.

Wow, vague much?

In this circumstance its fairly safe to assume a 'standard case' and dish out the information accordingly.

We should build a bot to auto-answer these questions.

In short: When in doubt, it's probably illegal, but it doesn't stop us :P

Yes' it's legal to play these songs on a rock band clone, because of fair use.

It's not legal however to distibute these songs for money or claim it as your own work and distribute it.

It also becomes illegal if you rip the song off the track and it is used for personal purpose. that is STEALING music.

But in all honesty, who cares
Guess whos back? Whatever. no one cares/
