fofix runs slow on win7

my frets on fire ran excellent in my windows xp, but now I installed Windows 7 on my computer, now I try to run the fofix but now is very slow. though I have all updated drivers windows 7 (directx too) but still the problem.

I have a good processor, as well as an excellent graphics card and RAM and not think that is the problem, not the drivers. I hope you can help me soon because I have sought a solution for almost a month, but can not find any

i tried versions 3.100 and 3.120, and both run slowly ;_;

I get very bad lag on windows 7. It will work fine at one moment, the next moment the gameplay is choppy. and i have a capable pc too. intel core 2 duo 2.5GHz 4GB ram

ive tried megalight, but even that has the same effects... if that is what you mean by turn down the graphics?

There's somewhere in options where you can choose an options setting like "My computer sucks!" Do that.

look, ive been able to run fofix great on win7 in the past, its just been recently that it has been slowing down.

I'd suggest trying to see if the graphics card manufacturer's website has updated drivers for windows 7.
90% of the windows 7 slowdowns I've heard about are fixed with new drivers (and not ones updated through windows itself).

i saw a previous post that suggested that, but it didn't help much, it helped it from being VERY choppy, its still quite a bit choppy though.

Try going into the settings and messing around there (turn off anti-aliasing). Otherwise try running the game at a lower resolution. Also, try turning "Use Psycho" in the advanced settings to off (some people have had less lag with that off).

in the Quick Set menu, i chose fastest gameplay... or something like that xD
but the deal is that the game continues slow :/
also with the graphics at minimum

Try to drop one of your cores out of FoFiX. When you have fofix on, go to Task control -> Processes, select "choose priority*" and drop one of CPU:s, so game runs with only one Core

*dunno what exactly there reads, I'm using Vista with Finnish language =)
