Problem with mod notes - I'm getting the wrong note view

I downloaded a few mods with new note looks included. When I did all the stuff to get it in the game and tried to play a song, the notes were standng up on their sides. I want them to lay flat, like the deafult ones. What's up with this?

what is the mod's version?
you grab your pc keyboard and plug it into a extended cord to your laptop that has the sound pluged into the stage speakers , you go on stage and you ROCK!!!

you had notes made for a different version and you were playing them on the wrong version.

I got it working when I downloaded a different version -- thanks. And I DID search for it, Gameking66.
