No drums sounds in some songs...Help

Postby billhur » Sat Jul 18, 2009 2:43 am

there are some songs such as monkeywrench by the foo fighters that have no drum sounds when i play guitar, i have no drums nor is there an option for them. when I researched this issue i found this answer but dont understand what it means

Get audacity. Extract the .rar or .zip. Open the song.ogg with audacity. Import drums.ogg. File-Export as Ogg Vorbis, save it over song.ogg. lather, rinse, repeat for the rest of your songs.

what is audacity? open the song in my computer in the directory of FOF? export it where? and what is a Ogg Vorbis and where do i find song.ogg for each file?

this seems like french to me is there someone who could perhaps put this in dummy terms for me?

Firstly. Download Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/

Now then. Go to your %root%\songs\ folder
Find the song(s) that doesn't have drum sound when you play guitar.
Open BOTH the song.ogg and the drums.ogg into the same Audacity window.
Then save as song.ogg (Overwriting the existing file).
