A couple days ago i decided to do some cleaning out of my songs folder. After deleting the songs and adding some new ones I opened up FoF and went to the library. All of the songs I deleted are still listed in the library and when you scroll over to listen to a preview it says it cannot read the guitar.ogg file. Anytime I try to play them they freeze up FoF and I have to use task manager to exit the program. Is there a way I can get rid of these extra (already deleted) files?

Did you delete the folders or only their contents?

Go into it again, and check for the folders.

If they're there, delete them.
If not, IDK.

I am having this same problem as well. I deleted the folders and moved the songs that were in them after i used the selforganizing program provided here on the forums. Not there are 3-4 folders that I have moved the contents of and they are deleted by me, and they still show in my list of folders for the game. Now if I were to open one, the game iwll shut down, since its not a valid folder to use.
Some one have any ideas about this. I have even deleted the config.ini for the settings to try to solve this problem.
Thanks

It's possible that the Highlighted Song that FoF has memorised is one of the ones you've deleted. You'll probably have to *gasp* delete your Fretsonfire.ini... if that doesn't work, well, oh dear.

I had the same problem and fixed it before: You have to go to C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Frets on Fire\data\songs

here you will find folders of every song with an ini file. Just delete the folders of the ones you removed.
