ScHaloX, don't tell someone to upgrade to a unstable release when there's a perfectly good way to handle the problem in the current!
Ziggy, have you tried Guitar Solo Neck: Off ?
If that doesn't satisfy you, go into your rb2 theme folder, and look for a file called guitarsoloneck. I'm not sure if it's guitarsoloneck.png or guitarsoloneckoverlay-png that you need to change, that depends on your settings I think (Guitar Solo Neck: Overlay/Replaced), however I'm not absolutely sure about just that. In any case open those files in a image editor (MS Paqint should work just fine) and change them to the way you want them to appear.
I'd do a backup of the files before editing them, and I suggest you do the same. Good luck with it. ;)
