Postby Leatsis » Thu Mar 12, 2009 1:12 pm

Hello. Last month i bought PS2 wireless guitar. BUT i don't have PS2  I use them for my PC. Everything are ok; Fret buttons works, strumbar too, star and select buttons also works. But whammy bar... When i pull it nothings happen. I use USB/2/PS2 coventer and all works. Is my coventer to weak? Did you have similar problem? How i can repair it?

Thanx for help,
Leatsis.

It isn't supposed to give you a whammy effect, if that's what you mean. If you applied it to the killswitch and it still doesn't work, then use XPadder. It works great!

Omg, i dont mean whammy EFFECT, I just only want to using whammy bar against killswitch. The effect of kilswitch should be shown, when I pull Whammy Bar. When I try set it in XPadder/Settings/J2K/anything bothings happen. If i Look on it i Controllers in Control Panel all buttons works fine WITHOUT whammy bar. Is it adapter's faul?
I forget. LETS ROCK!

Will a PS2 Guitar Hero controller work with a Guitar Hero III PC version using a ps2 to usb adapter? I use ps2 ddr pads for stepmania on my computer. I use a ps2 to usb adapter, but the Guitar hero won't recognize the PS2 guitar using the same adapter. Do I need some keyboard mulator to joystick software or anything like that?

Problem resolved. If anyone have it too, theres instructions how to repair it:

1. Go to start -> Control Panel -> Controlers(Game Controlers)
2. Select Your Guitar Controller and Click Propoties.
3. If the "+" mark on the upper window is on center position everything shold be OK. Your controler works good, but if not...
4. Press "Start" and "Select" buttons at once and hold it.
5. Strum down and Strum up. The "+" mark should move from left to center.
6. Push whammy bar; if the "+" go up evrything are OK. Your controller works ;]

I find this issue interesting: when I test mine, strums make the + go up and down, but whammy does nothing. Whammy never did anything, so I had to use the select button as killswitch. I wonder if someone could explain how to get it done, because I never succeeded.
