Keys problem

Postby FeliveNdrell » Thu Feb 12, 2009 1:33 pm

I have FoFiX 3.030 on Win XP sp.3

I mapped my frets to:

1 - A
2 - S
3 - D
4 - F
5 - Space
Hit_1 : 1 ( on num lock panel)
Hit_2 : 2 ( on num lock panel)

And when i'm trying to hit any key + 'F' it didn't work, i.e 'A' + 'S' + Hit_1 works fine and 'A' + ' F' + Hit_1 didn't, and single 'F' + Hit_1 works fine.
If change Hit_1 or Hit_2 to any key that not on the num lock panel it works fine.

Important: I'v read FAQ, and my keyboard is alright cause in other games (i.e. Flight simulators and Fightings) this combos works.

ps: sorry for my awful language

no , it is your keyboard. its definatly not a game problem., all keybaords ( apart from like 3 ) have shortcut problems on them, some games can see past it, most cant. i have the same problem, when playing GTA SA, esp when im flying, coz i cant turn, climb and accelerate all at the same time.

you have a couple of options, change your key settings ( the strummer or all of them ) or get a guitar controller as they never have this problem.
but i can assure you it IS definitely a keyboard related issue.. im not sure about fofix but i know Rfmod has a 3 key combo setting which lets you get around this problem, by only having to press the 2 outside keys, the middle fret doesnt have to be pressed.

Hope that helps
