Re: How to set up your Xbox 360 Rock Band Drums with FoF!
I have the Rock Band 2 wireless drum set, all notes register just fine in the "Drum Test" section, however, when I get to a song, it will recognize about 1/10 notes. Yes I'm hitting them hard enough and on time, I play expert in rock band. I've adjusted the AV delay, I've tried in both directions, doesn't help. Any clues? Also I'm a huge computer geek, and I can vouch that it's not my computer.

It's probably USB lag. I've had that problem before even with my RB1 set. It can't detect really fast rolls and such. The idiots at Microsoft capped the polling rate to 125hz, which gives 8ms latency. Sure, it's only 8ms, but it's REALLY noticable in FoF, especially.

It's gotta be something with the game because there is a program called Drum Machine that I have on here and it isn't laggy with this set. I've searched around for other people only getting note lag/mishits and haven't really seen anything useful.

1) Go **** yourself.
2) I will go **** myself if you can find me a thread via the search that explains my issue and solves it.
kthxbi
To help explain the issue, it sometimes won't recognize single hits, but will recognize notes played in a row. Example, if I play quarter notes, sometimes they will play, sometimes not. If I play 16th notes, most will play. WTF?

I already downloaded drivers for my Xbox 360 Controller (I own a controller, and will get the rock band 360 drums).
Do I need to download drivers again? Or should I just start in the middle of step 2 by plugging in my kit?

Of course I've tried fixing it myself...... minus the fact that I don't program in python. I don't give a **** if it's against the rules, douche bags need to be put in their place.
Also, I like how you type in Haiku's, that's cute.

douche bags need to be put in their place?
what makes me a douchebag?
i think that this thread was necessary and now people just need to search it?
and no, genius haiku is 7-12-7
people like you don't deserve help.
setting all that aside though, is your port Usb2.0?

Way to miss the joke, guy.
And no, my usb isn't 2.0, I'm fascinated with the hyperspeed that 1.1 gives me, 2.0 would blow my mind.

It's not usb related. Works fine for one drum program, doesn't work fine for FOF.

Actually a Haiku follows a 5-7-5 pattern. Example:
Butt Wiggle of doom!
Feline Targeting System,
Operational!
