I plugged the guitar in the usb port and it said it was installed, now, you know how you have to push the little xbox sign on the guitar for it to turn on? do you have to turn it on for the computer because it wont work for me and do i have to do more stuff for it to work?

It sounds like maybe your USB port isnt putting out enough power for the controller, my Xbox circle light thing stays on all the time as long as the guitar is plugged in.

Not sure what the compatibility of the x-plorer is, but I'm guessing you would need USB 2.0 ports as well (not the old ones). Although its all just speculation.

i dont have my xplorer plugged into my 2.0 port and it works perfect.

You dont have to push the green X button to turn it on.
If the drivers are installed, and you plug in the controller, the green light should go on (in the player 1 position)

when i plug it in and it searches for the program for it to install on the internet, when it browers it, it never finds anything it searches for like two seconds then says can not be found or something like that

you dont need that green button to turn it on and microsoft made the 360 controllers to be usb to use for computer online game now if you have mac the guitar wont work
