Help playing a paticular note - eh heh. I can't work it out

I've tried holding both frets, I've tried letting go of the yellow immediately after picking it, I have no idea how to do it. It's on some Guitar Hero songs too so I would really appreciate it if you could explain how.

The way to hit this note is to hold down both the 2nd and 3rd frets (red and yellow) as the circled chord is coming. When the note crosses hold down both the frets and pick but then let go of the yellow or 3rd fret. This should work for hitting this note.

That is a sucky fretting. What I would do is to hold down F2 and F3 and tap once and then let go the buttons. That will probably work, but you'll points for the red fret.

That actually looks like a **** up occured with the actual notes.mid because no guitar hero songs place notes like that. Which song is it? I'm willing to bet that's meant to be a red yellow chord with the yellow note as long as the red one
