Weel, when I hit the red pad, it is like hitting the red frret button on my guitar controller... it just cancels... BUT I'll try to do what aduro told me to do...
Future Band Name: I need to think it over...
Instrument I will play: Guitar with a Hevy metal sound...
Currently working on a song. Called Sweet Revenge...

if you have your rb guitar mapped too you will need to delete those mappings because some of them are the same (i.e red).

I had the same problem with the Red pad, you gotta set the guitar's red button to something else.

I hate it's inability to have two Rock Band controls at the same time, so I use GlovePIE.
