Everytime I try to play fofix it says connection lost...

I am running 10.10 ubuntu and I downloaded it from the ubuntu software center. Made a songs folder, put some songs into it and when I click on them through the game it just says connection lost <ok> I click enter and then it says OSError: [Errno13] Permission denied: '/usr/share/fofix/data/songs/Linkin Park - Across The Line' <ok>


Can anyone please tell me what I have done wrong?

You have to re-route the songs folder, or change where FoFix is I have gotten this multiple times while switching to a new PC, move the songs folder into diffrent placees and you should get it, unless it is another problem. Sorry if it is.

another option is delete the song and redownload the song make sure it has song.ogg and guitar.ogg because you either got incomplete song or incomplete download.

Hmm. You were both right it seems. But mostly I had the wrong kind of songs for fofix. lol. Now I just got to figure out how to get it to play the guitar along with the music while I'm playing....Play the frets, but no sound happens, just some lyrics. Hmm.

did you callerbrate a guitar to the game? you have to create a guitar contoller. make sure if you have FoFIX that you dont download frets on fire songs because they arent compatable.
