Dunno why, but when songs load, frets on fire minimizes to desktop once every two or three songs.. It doesnt crash or anything.. All I gotta do is all tab it. It's a bit of a problem since I play on my TV.. I gotta run to my PC each time..
Any idea? I'm running the Latest gh3 mod..

Yeah i had it minimise a few times on me, when i was playing. I found out it was becasue some one had sent me a message over MSN.
Normally full sceen games shouldnt get interupted by things like that, but sometimes they do! i can only suggest finding out what program is causing your computer to jump back to desktop and turn it off. I had to stop MSN from notifying me when evey i was playing games

I had a problem similar to this, when I would press keys for notes it would activate the shortcut as if I was on the desktop so I would end up with several searches running and about 30 firefox's open, it wasn't every note just seemed random. To fix that I changed the FoF resolution to match that of my desktop and I havent had a problem with it since although that doesnt sound like it will fix your problem ... worth a shot

Fresh install of XP home with SP3
Dual Core Turion X2 RM70 2ghz
2gb DDR
Nvidia 9100M
D~Alarian Mod Rockband theme (I haven't tried with GH3 theme)
Latest FoF 1.2.451
PS3 GH3 controller
It just drops out to the desktop sometimes and I click on the taskbar and it pops back up. I sit close due to not yet having a vga cable to hook to the tv, so it hasn't really affected me much. I'll keep trying to isolate it by shutting down TSRs and trying other mods. I have Alarian and RfMod installed in seperate FoF folders with separate shortcuts.
I'll let you know if I find anything out.

Bumping this topic because I just had the same problem and for me it seems to be Xpadder that was causing the issue. I felt this should be bumped so that people with this problem in the future might be able to fix it if they were also using Xpadder.
