I guess you've heard this one b4.

A friend of mine showed me the game, and I liked it very much, so I downloaded it.

but when installed, it was verrrrry laggy. sound and graphics.
No matter how low i put the video settings, it still won't work good. I already tried new drivers, same result

my specs:

amd athlon xp 2800+
1 gb pc3200 ram
ati x1650 pro agp

anyone got an idea?

Are you using Version 1.1.324 of FoF?
If so, Have you downloaded RF_Mod 3.5? it fixes plenty of performance bugs and problems.

If not, revert back to 1.1.324 and download RF_3.5

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

Make sure you're not using the 16bit colour issue.
Purple's a fruit.
