Have you tried a different theme? Rockband 2 and Lego Rockband work well for me, but you might try a "light" theme for starters.

Does your computer have sufficient memory?

Have you:
Shut down other programs running in the background?
Turned off shaders?
Turned off or down anti-aliasing?
Set the FPS limiter?

There are a lot of tweaks in the video settings.

Answering to 51's questions then.

4x 1GB RAM @ 800Mhz
Of course I've tried that.
Yeah, I've tried all kinds of themes; from megalights to my own ones. None of them works.
And yes, I've switched every setting around to make some nice different combinations, none of them works.
Same as above.
Same as above.

As I've had lots of time (8 months) to try different things to make the game work, please, stop asking stupid questions.

And this problem can't have anything to do with bad performance, every other game run fine with maximum settings.

Try to be a little more polite to the people actually trying to help you. I know it sometimes seems rude when people ask you silly questions, but we are just trying to clear all possible solutions here.

"For staters" means something to try first.

What release of FoF are you running, by chance?

=x, I'm really sorry, but just feels bad when everyone ask those questions which you already have tried tens of times.

The version of FoFiX is 3.120 atm, I've tried other versions as well

Oh, no problem, man. I hear you.

Some people have had better luck with the Python 2.4 release than with the 2.6 release, but if you are sure you've tried everything, I'm running out of things to suggest.

Maybe this problem is something you can't solve, so I think it's better for everyone that I completely stop trying to think about this and go play other games.. =/

*OFFTOPIC*
Btw, are there any ways to get custom charts work on RB? ^^

He's saying he couldn't get his FoFiX to work so he's was wondering if you can put custom charts into the actual game RockBand.

To answer that question though, it would depend on some things. For Xbox you'd have to either Jtag it or do the RockBand Network thing which neither would be worth it IMO unless you did it for more then one reason. Now if you have a Wii I believe that RawkSD is compatible with some FoF charts, and has support to put some GH charts into RB. I'm not sure about the Playstation, but you can get into the RBN stuff like on the Xbox.

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

Angellinus please. I'm not as stupid as you might think I was. I'm a pro FoFiX user/player.

Using the XBox myself, so it's kinda difficult and worthless?

To me, yes.

Jtaging involves hard modding your Xbox 360, which voids your warranty(if it's not already gone), and I'd assume you'd run the risk of destroying your Xbox. And RockBand Network(AFAIK) you have to pay to be able to make/add charts.

So with that in mind, unless I really wanted a modded Xbox for something special, or I was actually going to make some legal charts for RBN (or whatever else you can do with an XNA Membership), then it just wouldn't be worth it to me otherwise.

Haha, then I'm gonna quit this idea. Never going to mod my Xbox 360 as I want to play games online on it.

This topic is going out of that what it was meant to be about =o
