okay... so i'm a halfway decent fretter, but i can't fret this one song because i can't find a proper BPM to use...... if anyone could let me know what bpm to set it for, that would be quite appreciated so i can actually fret the song!!!
if it matters, i use EOF.....
also, this is the mp3.... thanks to anyone who can help me/tell me how to help myself.... and if you're going to tell me to make a beat map or whatever, idk how.... i usually use a program to find the bpm and just do it from there..... but that method doesn't work for this song, so that's my problem... sorry in advance if im just stupid!! haha

please PM me with a solution, or just leave something on here.... either way.... thanks a ton!!

Re: fretting help please...
Don't count on a static BPM for your charts, it's a pipe dream. Use anchoring techniques like dragging beat markers to set them in the correct place, and use the metronome while playing the chart back to check the timing. This is the only good way to beat sync a chart.

Yep. If you use FeedBack you can enable the Claps option, this is simliar to the metronome.
Ray, how do you drag the BPM lines (anchoring) in dB?

ok, well im just saying, i've had really good results with that........ it works and syncs amazing with every song i've done save this one........ so yeah, and on top of that, im terrible at using those beat anchors.... i guess if that's the only way, ill spend forever trying to figure it out..... haha, i can never find out where to even put an anchor... my ears aren't that good at picking out the beats.....

Re: fretting help please...
kamakazikilla, just play back the chart with the metronome, and if the click sounds out of time (ie. with the drummer), then click and drag the beat marker either a little earlier or a little later. You can zoom in and out to make it easier to make smaller or larger adjustments. When you get good enough, you can alter the tempo on beat markers to make very small changes without painstakingly dragging the mouse one pixel at a time to move the anchor slightly.
I don't know if you can. I don't use Feedback, but I thought you had to manually set the tempo.

You can set an anchor with the A key and move it back and forward in the time domain by holding various combinations of Ctrl, Alt and Shift along with the square bracket keys: [].
Hit F1 for more info.
BPM is automatically calculated in this mode. Use it sparingly though.
