I had the exact same problem, and I uninstalled it and reinstalled it about a thousand times. Then I changed the colour from 32 bit to 16 and it worked, which is funny because I've read everywhere that it should be on 32. The only problem is that it's really, really slow, but I have a fast computer. Is there any way I can make it play faster?

joelama, post the contents of the error file. it should be in the same folder as the fretsonfire.exe. you could also try to delete your fretsonfire.ini to reset it. if you can't find it, go to your start menu and click on run. there you can type %appdata%\fretsonfire and it will take you to the folder where you can do that.

what os are you running?
what version of fof are you running?

jdewey same questions?
