New version problem - "Dead notes"

Hi,.. now i just DL'd and installed the new ver. of FoF... and i put all my songs into it too..

And ive noticed with songs like... Fat lip... on amazing.. that certain notes WILL NOT work at all as if they were dead... causing my score to be rubbish.. when i noticed which notes it was i stopped all the other notes and just concentrated on the faulty ones... and even if i hit it perfectly... Nothing.

This is on alot of my other songs.. like hotel california... or any song of which has alot of quick bunched up notes.... can anyone help??

i got just below 200,000 for hotel california on amazing in the previous version... now im having a hard time getting over 100,000 due to these "dead" notes...

Do the notes look different?
What if you don't strum and just fret the notes?
It sounds like you are describing HOPO notes.. if so, you aren't supposed to strum on them.. just press the appropriate fret instead
Try turning tappable notes off (its a menu option)

ooo00ooo that might be it... ok.. so the notes of which look like a nipple... what are they?? (the round thing with the lil point in it for all those who havent seen one!! hahah)
And what are the flat round ones??? and how does one strum??

i know they are noob questions.. but i am a avid player of FoF... and i havent heard any of this!! hahah

You could always experiment with them to see what they do.
"Strum" is another word for "pick", so you strum by hitting your pick button o.O

Some notes only require you to tap the frets instead of holding the fret and strumming(picking) it.

Yeah. Though this tapping makes it easy, I'm waiting for RF to perfect his HOPOs and RF Mod 4.0 for the new version. Still, I'm playing the new version 'till then. :p

RF-mod-3.0 HOPO works far better than the new FoF that's for sure.

You're going to be waiting a long time if you think it's going to change that much more, lone wolf.

No, it's just that I think I somewhere read you said there were some bugs & glitches (when it was first released I think), that's why.
