Why would you want to turn the strumming off? Do you mean that you want a mod that lets you just press the neck buttons and it strums automatically?

It has been discussed many times and most people agreed that this kind of feature is not necessary (feature that kind of turns FretsOnFire into a StepMania-style game [yeah yeah, we know, guitar hero, etc..]) so short answer is: No, you can't do that. There are some work around that you can try using third-party software such as joy2key or xpadder (linking both fret and pick buttons together). Please search the forums next time instead of creating new topics, you will find answers.

I believe I read somewhere in the RF-Mod 5 thread that it was accidentally made as a feature, I believe he is going to call it 'controller mode'. Check there, I'm not sure if it is out yet.

If not, I think you can pull it off with joy2key.
