pausing crashes

how come whenever i pause my game, i hit alt+tab to switch programs and moments later i alt+tab back to my game, the screen turns black and then exits the game?

try going into the settings and changing the game from full-screen to windowed. then you can just colaps the window and it will not crash.

is there a way to make it NOT crash though, without changing it to windowed mode?

a lot of games will crash or get glitches when you Alt+tab out of them. its coz its having to switch god knows how many display modes and adapters, so the answer your looking for is NO, there isnt a way to stop it from crashing, well there is one way. DONT alt+tab out of the game, just play till your bored then quit.
