I play using a Rock Band guitar, and I have also played using a Guitar Hero guitar. I can program the up + down strum to navigate the menus, but whenever there is a fast sequence of the same note, when I alternate strum, it lags out. The game still runs smoothly, but if I alternate strum that fast on the controller, it doesn't count the notes hit and I end up failing. I can down strum a whole song, and I can up strum a whole song, but I can never alternate strum. Any ideas why?

there's a problem with the game - there has been for awhile

someone has been working on a fix for it, but it's been about 10 days since we've heard from him or her

for now though, you can fix this issue by using the XBCD/XBCD+ drivers or XPadder

Read JMT391's post. He gave you a solution. There is also a code somewhere for a fix for the XBox 360 GHII controller. Those are the only 2 solutions that I know of.

I have Xpadder, still doesnt fix it. I also have a ps2 GH controller with a USB adapter. Works fine for navigating menus in FoF with alternate strumming, but Xpadder wont even recognize it. I was asking for updates to the fix the guy was working on.

Ah, that's because XPadder is for Xbox controllers. Try Joy2Key.

Uhm, neither Joy2Key or Xpadder work with my controller

I am using a PS2 guitar hero controller with a Gamemon Universal USB converter.

Help would be appreciated.
