do the gh2 AND gh3 controllers for xbox 360 both work on frets on fire without having to use anything like joy2key to configure them?
edit: also, which do you reccomend i get if i get one of them? and where is the best place to buy them, can someone give me a list of places where i can buy them?

the xplorer is the easiest to set up, Just plug in let it get the drivers for you, then play! it makes no difference what 360 guitar you use, hell you can use a 360 joypad if you want. the file you are downloading is the XBox360 controller drivers not the xbox guitar drivers, it knows about every official Xbox360 controller.
I have an xplorer and a PS2 SG guitar and neither of them required any other software apart from the main drivers ( i didnt even need them for my PS2-usb converter) But yeah id say the xplorer, is your easiest bet, and its quite a comfy guitar to use, i find i can rest my arm on it quite nice in between songs.
