i cant get the songs to work properly

hi i am having troubles getting the songs to play,by this i mean pressing a fret key and not hearing any sounds also i dont hear the screw up sounds is there something wrong with my version of the game.Also when i try to apply mods in the game i go to game apply mods and nothing changes

hmmm i think you checked the audio options first, didn't you ?
any other sounds from other progs/games you hear, right, then your speakers are okay :D...i don't have any idea except you extracted only the "notes.mid" and "song.ini" but in this case the game would say "File guitar.ogg not found" if you select a song. so my only idea is: check your audio options if you didn't...

€dit: oh and did you recognize that you have to press the pick button with the fret button ? ???

yeah i have checked the audio options in game like screwup volume they are all on 10 so i know thats ok.also ive followed the step by step on installing mods im trying to install the guitar hero one and i go to gamesettings,then apply it but nothings work

maybe you should deinstall and reinstall fof...or use an older version they have not the bugs of the newest version...go try it and sorry for the late answer

Im pretty sure you just havent configured your input properly.

Are you using a keyboard or guitar?
I play Guitar zero 2 more and there is nothing you can do about it.

it's probably a problem with your sound card (if the FoF settings are all ok)

uninstall FoF, update your sound card drivers, get the newest stable version of FoF and reinstall, install RF-mod...turn volume up...lol
