now, just to clear something up, i did NOT find this question on the forums. now, my issue is, every few minutes when i try to load a song, it gives me a message saying Frets on Fire has encountered an error and needs to close. usually, i have pidgin (formally gaim instant messenger), windows media player 10 and systernals processexplorer running in the background. are any of these causing a conflict or is there just a general issue of this happening or..what?

guitarlooney, rogue_f's post fixed it for me. http://www.prison.net/FretsOnFire/RF-mod-4-win32.zip go here, this is the download link for the mod. try it out and see if it works
