Best Custom Guitar Hero Song Engine?
I'm not asking for advice, it's just one of those posts where you're curious to know about other people's opinions (If that's the right way to say it?) I've been playing GHIII PC a lot for frets on fire songs, and knowing of other programs to play these songs, I was curious to know what the FoF community thought was the best simulator for custom songs? I'm terrible with forum code so I don't know how to start a poll but some options are Fofix, GHIII PC, Phase Shift, or some other whacky software I never heard of before Post below!

Guitar - GH3PC all the way!
Drums - Phase shift for sure. (I freakin love this game!)

I'd say FoFiX myself, but I'd prefer if there was one with timing and hopo windows similar to/the same as GH:WoR, as it just feels perfect on that game.

Best timing window I've ever had from any rythm game I have to say Rock Band 3. Not too open like GH but not too strict like RB/RB2. Phase Shift seems like you can hit early but if you hit late you miss the note.

If you have a ps2 Id say go with the classics and do GH2 customs.
I love those over any other engine.

I take back what I said...well sort of. I can't really decide between PS2 GHWT engine (specifially for GHM) and RB3.

Unless you know something I don't, I'm pretty sure you can't do the customs he's talking about on that game.

Guitar Hero 2's engine I like. Probably cause it's the first game I played...

My early GH games broke a long time ago so I like forgot that engine and how it performs lol. From what I can remeber it was decent but not the greatest.

On that I would say MFH-Alarian Mod(aka FoFiX).
From my understading it went from FOF > Raphs GH2 Mod > Herings Drum Mod > Ultimate Coffee's GH3 Mod > Alarian Mod > MFH-Alarian Mod > FoFiX
(I nevered played drums so I don't know how the changes there went, so correct me if I am wrong)
In the end(and until recently) Phase Shift(it supports FoF/FoFiX & hopefully with vocals eventually).
In the real end, its up to the end user(you)..not anyone's opinion.
Bluzer.
