You'll have to convert from .chart to .mid, and open note pull offs won't work correctly, but everything else should be just fine in Phase Shift.

Excellent! Thank you :) Saw a few Songs that haven't been charted only for that.

ModestMouse601 wrote:Hi; I just started playing Phase Shift a couple of weeks ago and I'm mindblown. I've always wanted to play a rhythm game where i could actually use the hihat pedal, used to play rb3 and rb4, but it never felt right.

I'm having a lot of trouble trying to find dlc that include real drums charts (with hihat pedals) on all difficulties, since I'm just starting to play drums, i cant just jump to expert. Could anyone share some links? Thanks in advance!

There are some discussion about open-hh in RB songs in Phase Shift forums. Thing is, Harmonix decided treat open-hihat as ride (green) cymbal. I have worked this around by mapping open-hihat midi note to ride cymbal in input profile. It's not optimal, but makes some custom songs actually playable, Violent Pornography by SOAD as an example. I use electronic drum kit, thus the distinct open-hh note.

Your keyboard doesn't support detecting both of those keypresses at the same time. You can try setting the fret buttons to different keys, but the best option is to use a game controller, which won't have this problem.

You can't .AFAIK someone on the dwsk said that playing PS without strum is the same as using a gun without a trigger. (I don't agree with this at all tbh)

(Shameless plug time) The only GH/RB clone that supports this is Clone Hero, the developer recently added a dualshock mode that disables strum buttons and lets you play like in GH3.

Would using a Wii Controler connected to the guitar work the same as a regular one would on the game?
