Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Unplugged 2, anyone?

Postby angellinus » Fri May 29, 2009 11:23 pm

Would Harmonix release another Rock Band series?
Here are things I could expect in RB3 and RBU2

Rock Band 3:
-A dual song importer for RB1 and RB2.
-Unplugged Mode - Tired on using a plastic guitar? Use a controller instead! (For Xbox, Ps3 and Ps2)
-Air Mode - Tired on using a plastic guitar? Use a Wii mote and a nunchuk to air around instruments! (for Wii)
-Endless mode - play random songs in a difficulty ENDLESS!
-PSP-PS3 connection: Unplugged mode - Play with a PSP owner Rock Band as helps you play unplugged!

Rock Band Unplugged 2:
-AdHoc band battle - You wanna play rough, PLAY ROUGH!
-Single Instrument - Much like warmup but you wont get disturbed by another instruments solo!
-AdHoc Tug-of-war and Score Duel - Play an instrument with another player.
-Song Importer for RBU1
-Endless mode - play random songs in a difficulty ENDLESS!
-PS3-PSP connection: Unplugged mode - Play with a PS3 owner Rock Band as helps you play unplugged!

Well..............It sucks hard!

I heard that there will be a RB3, but it won't be till sometime in 2010.

I want RB to do double bass charts, because their charts are amazing and I want good double bass! :tongue2:

Also, I'd like to see downloadable themes for the game (like RB theme DLC) that would change the graphics (so they're not the same as they've always been) to that theme.
I think that would be a great feature and would also bring in TONS of extra cash for HMX.

There will be no RB3 in 2009

-A dual song importer for RB1 and RB2.
Not needed. All RB files are really the same, as in RB1 exported files work just like RB DLC. What RB3 really needs is compatibility. The import would be automatic. I think you might be thinking RB2 needs a song exporter.

-Unplugged Mode - Tired on using a plastic guitar? Use a controller instead! (For Xbox, Ps3 and Ps2)
You could do it in the old games, I don't see why not.

-PSP-PS3 connection: Unplugged mode - Play with a PSP owner Rock Band as helps you play unplugged!
No other game does a streaming PSP-PS3 connection like this, I don't think RB will be the first to do it.

-Endless mode - play random songs in a difficulty ENDLESS!
Could be Fun

---------------------------------

I can't really think of anything I want. Whatever HMX makes usually makes me happy.

Me too, it sucks that they aren't doing Expert+ like GH: M. Guitar Hero ripped off Rock Band by doing the full band idea, so Rock Band should rip off Guitar Hero.

not having a second pedal allows them to actually make it more difficult lol

Rock Band did have a plan on double bassing. It is some sort of device that requires batteries (heck), you hang it on the stick placeholder, you jack the input to the main bass pedal output, and there are holes that is used to attach the 2 double bass jacks.

While Guitar Hero Metallica and up uses a splitter that don't require batteries.

Things i would want in Rock Band 3:

Keyboards
Hi-Hat Pedal For Drums
A Greater Career Mode Where you make albums and release them and release singles of your choice, and you go on tour a nd choose the songs you play live and peform at festivels, Make it more like a real rock band!

I think Rock Band's current set up and format is fine. I don't think it needs double bass, hihat pedal, keyboards or anything like that.

New songs, graphics and modes are what we should have.

Rock Band Unplugged 2:
-AdHoc band battle - You wanna play rough, PLAY ROUGH!

Battle would be nice.
-Single Instrument - Much like warmup but you wont get disturbed by another instruments solo!

I was told this was in RB:U. I hope it is.
-AdHoc Tug-of-war and Score Duel - Play an instrument with another player.

I'm sure if there was online these would be the first modes they'd put in.
-Song Importer for RBU1

Would eat up memory but would be cool.
-Endless mode - play random songs in a difficulty ENDLESS!

There's not enough songs for there to be an Endless Mode. It'd get boring fast.
-PS3-PSP connection: Unplugged mode - Play with a PS3 owner Rock Band as helps you play unplugged!

I don't see this working.
