Re: Guitar Hero 5 Confirmed and some songs with it
Great rolling stones song, but it will be TERRIBLE in GH. Just listen to it and you'll catch what I mean. The other songs are pretty popular, but I really don't think most of them will translate to GH very well at all.
Might be interesting to see what Iron Maiden song they pick (and overchart hurr).

Re: Guitar Hero 5 Confirmed and some songs with it
If that Alter Bridge song is Metalingus (which is most likely is) then I"M BUYIN!!!
Starting fresh. (:
Re: Guitar Hero 5 Confirmed and some songs with it
Guitar Hero 5 will offer music from 85 bands, with 30 artists making their music-rhythm game debuts. All of the songs will be unlocked from the moment the game is first turned on.
So how many gigs of crap to download off mediafire just to play one or two good songs?
Re: Guitar Hero 5 Confirmed and some songs with it
Rumored:
21st Century Schizoid Man - King Crimson
Wolfmother
85 songs.
30% completely new bands.
25% songs from the last 18 months
50% from the current decade
Around 42 or 43 songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s and 90s
Around 29 or 30 songs from 2008 - 2009.
Don't look at it like a **** fest of bad songs, maybe something brutal like Metalcore, Death Metal or even Black Metal from the 2000s will make it in.

kotaku article with 2 new screenshots. They say new art direction, and I can see them saying that from the 1st screenshot. Looking that the 2nd one, it looks exactly the same.

Looks ugly, but not uglier than GH:WT.
Hopefully this time it'll have good band animation, because in GH:WT if you make a song with no drums, the drummer is wailing on the drums. Seriously, wtf?

Needs more Evanescence.
PM me for my Wii or DS Friend Codes.
http://www.fretsonfire.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=38434 My Wii GH:WT Guitar and Drum GlovePIE script. Also supports GH3 guitars!
Since "DragonFail" "sucks" so much, I won't post anything related or about them any longer.

That would be cool.
